Who am "I" as "eye" move between spaces?

This blog is the practical component for my Masters, a self-study of osmosisliza, importantly the visual text that runs alongside my written component. From cyberspace I send you 98 electronic postcards about my journey as a junior lecturer where I acted as a tourist in my life searching to articulate an identity as an artist, mentor and researcher of photographies (2009-2012). Electronic postcards are diptyches about the fluctuating movement between spaces of being and not feeling like artist in my place of work. From my everyday life I make snapshots with a Panasonic Lumix. In these snapshots I use metaphoric objects and symbols to explain my feelings of dissonance and dislocation in my working environment. To reflect and remedy, I trace the negetive spaces with pink in another illustrative image that sits below the snapshot. These are the spaces where I am poetically pausing, feeling and thinking about how I can belong.
